Fujimoto is introduced shouting for people to move out of his way.[1] Confronting Kanamori, he questions if he thought they would leave things as they are and have two consecutive championships. Telling him he's caught in the moment because they have the middle school Yokozuna. He mentions they also have a big rookie among them.[2]
Before his match with Ozeki Shinya begins, Fujimoto remarks that nobody told him about Onimaru.[3] Preparing to start his match. A person from the crowd tells him not to underestimate Onimaru's comrade.[4] Shortly afterwards, Fujimoto wins his match with an under-shoulder swing.[5]
