Ōkōchi Manabu (大河内 学, Ōkōchi Manabu^?) is a student from Kawato High School and a member of its sumo club. He placed third during the Inter-High Tornament.

History

In his final year of middle school Ōkōchi was elimated by Sada Mizuki in the first round of a tournament after a injury to his knee.

Synopsis

District Preliminary arc

When Fujimoto confronts members of Ishigami High School and mentions they a big rookie among them. Ōkōchi appears before Sada Mizuki and mentions he wouldn't have won last year if it wasn't for his injury. When Sada asks if he's Ōkōchi, he says he's grown since their last meeting. When Sada says Kawato High School has good eyes they shake hands. As Ōkōchi says they'll meet in the finals, Sada walks way to speak with someone else. He claims Sada can play around much as much as he wants because he has a secert plan to against him. Later on, Ōkōchi is railroaded in his match with Ushio Hinomaru.
